Laudation for Sandy from Funtyme
One of the first awards I applied for were the beautiful animated awards from Sandy. But... I didn't get one because I had all my awards on one page which was against her criteria. I sighed a lot, but I knew she was right and I improved my first site for the first time. I applied again and I got an award !!! I was so happy and that made me determined to improve my site again and again and again and all the time Sandy was around to encourage and help if needed. When I started my award program she made several beautiful animated awards for me (like the Warm Heart Award that is still part of my program today). Even though she was (and is) very busy herself she always took (and takes) the time to help or listen. And now... I came home from giving my Monday horse riding lesson to my handicapped kids and I found the Gold Award with the above laudation in my mail box... Maybe silly, but I had to cry a bit, it really touched my heart. Sandy, because of people like you the Internet becomes a better place and although we have never met in real life, I feel you are one of my best friends (even though you kicked my butt a couple of times :-), I am happy to have you as a friend and I hope we will remain friends forever. BIG hug !!!
