* The system you use (the scoring system, whether or not you use a scoring sheet and so on), the process and the way winners and non-winners are notified should be described.
* There needs to be a page with descriptions of the evaluators and their qualifications.

An award program should
contain at least one (1) page
with resources (the
pages with resources can contain
tutorials, links to sites
with free graphics, and
so on).
* An award program needs to contain a Code of Ethics.
* If a site is USA based, there should be a C.O.P.P.A. statement and link within the program.
* An award program gathers information from visitors, so it needs to display a Privacy Policy.
* There should be a copyright statement pertaining to all your work and your graphics. If they are not your own creations then credit must be given.
* There should be a page with the award graphics and their description.
* The winners lists can contain only links, but for the highest award something special should be be done, like a screenshot and / or a description.
* There should be a page with the ratings and listings of the award program.
* There should be a status page.
* There should be a page with the statistics of the program.
* A self test is recommended.
* A page with the history of the program is recommended.
